Vitamin D deficiency...

So... I've dealt with canker sores for a very very long time, about 20 years and had a bunch of recurring sores the last few months with at least 2-3 large ones at a time and finally went into the doctor, which might seem kind of dumb after 20 years lol. And I've been lurking here for several years and tried so many things people have recommended, the last thing I thought would work is vitamin D. But sure enough, I did blood labs and the doctor prescribed me a high once a week dose of vitamin d and it's been 2 months since I have yet to have a canker sore. I feel so dumb, but I wanted to share this in case it might help someone else, vitamin d was the last thing I thought would affect it the way it has!
