The most annoying thing about my Mazda

I have a 2020 Mazda six touring. I absolutely love the car. Best car I’ve ever owned and I can’t recommend it enough to my friends and family.
However, every time I connect my phone via USB to the CarPlay, if I don’t start any music right away, I get an immense amount of static because it auto plays the radio. Does anyone know if there’s any way to shut this off?
TIA

I am looking to buy a Tesla within the next six months or so. Currently have a Mazda6 which I love, but my wife’s car can use an upgrade and I’d love to pass this one on to her.

I have watched an extensive amount of videos and have gone and test driven a bunch of the different models (Y,3). I really love the model 3 Premium RWD. I live in Texas, so I don’t ever have to battle snow or ice much at all, so it makes sense for me to go with the rear wheel drive and get the extra range.
However, this week I started to look into the model S, and boy do I love the brand new S. The only caveat is that I can’t afford it. So being a little bit more realistic I have gone back to looking at the 2026 model three, which I would need to save up some more to buy brand new, or was looking at potentially going an alternative route and buying a used Tesla.

Is it worth it to just go ahead and buy a brand new three, or are there other Teslas that are used in fairly similar that also carry HW4 that might be worth looking at? I don’t really need the extra space and I don’t love the look of the model Y so much, so I’m still looking at getting a sedan that closely resembles my current Mazda6 sedan. Would love to hear everyone’s thoughts
