2001 Lesabre Air Ride

I’ve got a 2001 Buick Lesabre with the air ride in the rear suspension. When I picked it up, the rear shock boots were torn up however when I’d go to start it, the compressor would just keep running so I figured the compressor was probably okay. Since, I have replace the rear shocks with aftermarket air shocks and now when I start the car, the compressor will come on for about 5-10 seconds and then go off however the rear suspension still visually appear to be lower than the front (I’ve also don’t new struts on the front and new springs in the rear). The rear shocks don’t appear or feel as though there’s any air in them. Not sure if there’s a large leak somewhere? But if that were the case, wouldn’t the compressor just continually run? Or could this be level ride sensor related?
