Anyone heard this before?
Thought it was a collapsed rocker or lifter but took everything off and they are perfect, my gaskets are of course destroyed but everything looks good. any recommendations to check?

So i was looking into this car as a first on the used market i want a station wagon and i dont mind going older but lexus never made a station wagon or a roomy coup that isnt super rare mercedes is pricy as fuck to repair and needs perfect maintence to run well volvo is great but the options i want like the volvo v50 are scarce and struggle with parts avaibility and so far buick regal touring seems the best
however hows the reliability i hear its pretty good albeit not lexus levels, and more importantly how servicable is it for the average person and whats the parts avalbility like espesically when you get an inevitable ding
Only two photos and it’s a sparse listing but man. Going to see it tomorrow.
Bought a Buick allure cx 2007 with around 75,000 miles on the odometer. It was dirt cheap but the bumper needs a replacement 🤷.
Meet my new and very first car! (Ps. If you know where to get a bumper tell me)
just picked up an 05 Buick lacrosse cxl, it lights up red when i put he car in reverse
i scored an Olds Custom Cruiser map pocket thingy a while back. always loved the early 90s Olds and I was jealous that their wagons got these cool faux-leather pouches. It was in pretty good shape, but I hate blue interiors so I spent a small fortune in gray Plasti-Dip to make it match my Buick.
several mishaps with failed coating attempts led to me accidentally dissolving parts of the pouch's glued structure, as well as the Oldsmobile badge... luckily the Buick Limited badges are the exact same dimensions as the Olds. I hand-cut a new aluminum backer to stick the "face" to and replaced the velcro with magnetic strips.
tbh these things have very little practical usage, but I'm still so thrilled to have snagged one!
A few weeks ago I noticed the carpet in the back passenger footwell was absolutely soaked with water to the point where multiple towels did barely anything to soak it up. It’s been raining almost constantly since the start of June and everyday I go out to see it’s soaked again.
I know these cars are prone to leaking through the windows and sunroof but the weird thing is that there’s no water anywhere else. No water on the seat, no water soaked into the roof, etc. I’ve attempted to figure out what’s causing it and I’ve looked everywhere but haven’t found a cause. I’m assuming some drain is clogged and backing up but I haven’t been able to figure out which one and where it would be located.
Hoping someone here can help!
Looks like we are gonna be proud new owners of this car for our Son. Has some hail damage we will get fixed through a family members shop, otherwise seems to be in great condition with only 78,000 miles.
Headlights have some condensation as well so may look to get those replaced if anyone has a beat on some nice aftermarket ones. Otherwise are they same headlights you’d find on other trims? Or specific to the GS trim line?
Have been having issues with it stalling out after running and then sitting for about an hour. Front oxygen sensor and fuel trims read like shit and then stalls out. Has had valve cover and front oxygen sensor replaced. Has also had pcm updated. Just curious if anyone has had a similar issue and what the fix was.
It’s long been believed that X-cars had been exorcised from the Earth but here we find a rust-free V-6 mini Skylark with a complete interior as well.
Also this LeSabre thing.
Howdy,
I'm inheriting a 2015 Buick Lacrosse V6 leather trim with about 60k miles. It was the typical low mileage, old person car.
I've never owned a Buick. In fact I've never really owned an American built vehicle.
This would be a 2nd vehicle for me, a weekend car for going to the dog park and other random things.
Are these reliable? Is a 10 year old Buick seen better days or can I rely on it like a Toyota? Should I sell it while it is still worth something or should I keep it because it's a good car that will continue to be a good car 10 years from now.
Any and all opinions are welcome. Tell me it's a piece of shit or otherwise.
Thanks
I have a 2025 Buick envision. It has a gorgeous screen that I absolutely love. However the right side of the screen when I connect to Android auto no longer goes full screen. It used to do that but it all the sudden stopped. Does anyone know how to make this go back to full screen so it stretches all the way out to the edges?
Here's a pic of how it's currently looking. Previously the Android auto screen display would stretch all the way out covering all the blue areas.
Had the rims for a bit. With such beautiful oem wheels, I knew i had to do it just with the vogues. As u can see I went with the red line. I thought it contrasts nicely against the silver. I'm happy with how it turned out.
There was a crack in the manifold causing the AC to Stora working right before warranty ended it was repaired. It was my first brand new vehicle. (Replaced 2008 Jeep Compass) I thought the hissing noise it made starting was just something new.
At 60k miles the water pump went out and had both timing chain and waster pump replaced. Timing chain was fine didn’t need change but there we were
70k the water reservoir needed replaced.
80k the turbo is bad and spitting oil into the intake. Now I might need to replace catalytic converter as well.
Dealership finally listens and understands the code for the under boost error for the infamous failing turbos In the plastic engine. First dealership said that isn’t one that the extended coverage would be honored on. Find one that gets it seems like things are going to be fixed properly.
Except instead of doing cost analysis and not wanting to get screwed by company reimbursement instead of flushing the system where all the oil was thrown into the turbo they tried sucking the excess oil out of the engine, test fine it and called me said it was good to go. They also told me it took them 3 times to flush it….
I pick it up and it still chugs at the corner. I immediately call them to tell them this. They say drive it out run it in the driveway to burn the oil that is left over off. At way less than 100 miles of driving it being returned when I stood at a 4 way “no oil pressure” warning comes up I immediately shut car down and get car out of the way.
Oil is splattered everywhere under the hood. Not a drop of oil on dipstick and it’s actually not even in the holder (I dipped wiped and dipped several times) I explained to the manager that I was told this was flushed 3 times then they went to talk to tech who said nope we just tried sucking it out. He wasn’t happy that the original advisor told me they did. Mostly because before he found out what was told to me and there tech was all wrong.
So now, this 2018 Encore that I ensured I maintained well might be a paperweight. GM motors are blowing up on new cars. The management at the dealership is hoping to make this right BUT I’m not in a position to buy a new car and I shouldn’t have to but I bought a garbage vehicle in the fist place.
Why is it mostly made of plastic
