Buick Encore foam pad identification

Wife's car is a 2018 Buick Encore. In the past couple of months I found 2 nearly identical foam pads on the garage floor where she parks.

Can someone help me identify what it is and whether I need to have the car serviced now or soon or whenever?

Foam is soft, pink inside, and was manufactured by BASF. AI keeps pointing me to the suspension system but I can't find and foam parts on it. There are rubber parts that look similar however I think it's wrong. It's next guess was some noise dampening foam that can only be replaced by replacing some large component of the car (ie bumper).

Anyone know what this is from?

Edit: I found the other part and the two join perfectly so they are the same part. With the other part (having issues adding a picture here or as a new post...) the shape is circular (half only) and the diameter is 145mm or 5.7in. Just handling the parts to take a picture, a small piece broke off. This stuff is soft and brittle as it is right now.

Help with Frigidaire Freezer issue before replacing

Based on extensive troubleshooting (list below), I have come to the conclusion I either have a leak, bad compressor or a restriction. Of the 3 potential issues, I am wondering whether there is a DIY fix for restrictions (leak, and bad compressor = no DIY fix). If it is a restriction, is there anything I can do?

Frigidaire upright freezer, model FFFH17F6QWB (2017)

Observations, fixes, & troubleshooting:

PREVIOUSLY

- Drain was clogged with solid ice for a long time even when freezer worked.

- Suction line under the cabinet had loose foam insulation that was full of water, and there was green CU corrosion (green stains on floor too, so had been going on for a long time). I dried it all up, and used cork tape to wrap it, then added foam insulation tube. No visible condensation, and no longer freezing to the touch where insulated. I wonder whether cleaning it all up, I helped a pin hole get larger as this repair was recent.

- Bad control panel as LEDs that are always on (-20) are barely lit. I already had a fix for that as I was going to replace all the LEDs, and reduce the current used to drive them (511 ohm resistor on pin 23 of the matrix chip, replaced with higher value). I already replaced the panel in 2021 for the same issue (lots of online reports of this issue). Same rev board years later so Frigidaire / Electrolux doesn't seem to care to fix design issues - not buying their products again.

NOW

- Minimal cooling, and lowest temp I saw was 1.7C

- Water leaking on floor due to lots of condensation forming everywhere

- Freezers draws 75W when compressor is running.

- Freezer draws 500 to 900W when heater is on.

- Evap fan seems to be always on.

- Start capacitor on compressor is 9.5uF instead of 15uF. I temporarily installed a 13.5uF capacitor (350VAC) to see if it helps. Nothing changed. Compressor seemed to start easily before and now.

- PTC relay measures 6ohms

- Compressor windings were 7, 8 and 15 ohms - so looks ok.

- Using service mode, I verified that the thermistor reads the right temperature (I have a sensor inside the freezer I compare against)., the heater works (power draw, and very hot to touch), compressor runs (145W at start, then 75W during run).

- Pictures show frost only on left side with the rest of the coil remaining warm. I completely defrosted the coil using steam, but it just did the same thing again.

REPLACEMENT

I found a freezer that fits what I am looking for made by MIDEA. While I have never purchased Midea branded products, I have noticed that a number of appliances I own and owned in the past were designed and manufactured by Midea, but sold under another known brand.

Model I found mentioned having an inverter which I believe would help the compressor last longer. Not sure about any other benefits. Other than that, they all seem the same... I would expect Midea parts to be readily available, and maybe sold at less of a premium compared to the more premium brands (even if made by Midea). Would that be the case? I am in the US.

CyberPower RMCARD205 - No link lights - Firmware issue

I was trying to update the firmware on the CyberPower RMCard205 and it failed telling me that data version was 1.4.1 while the firmware was 1.6.1. I tried multiple times, but it was stuck.

I ended up pulling the jumper on the board, but now the link lights no longer flash even with the jumper re-installed. My Unifi networking gear doesn't show the port as active.

Is there any way to recover this card?
