Envista or Envision?

Hi everyone, I am in the market for a new car and have been looking at getting a buick. I am getting out of a hyundai sonata which is now burning oil at only 80k miles.

I test drove both the 2026 envision and envista and am on the fence about which to get. After doing some research, I’m not sure how to feel about the envista’s 1.2 ecotec 3 cylinder engine. I am finding 2025 Envisions with low mileage (~10k) for about the same price as a new envista.

Reliability is my biggest concern. Which of these two would be the better choice for a car that will last me the longest with the least amount of issues?

Should I sell my hyundai sonata?

Basically what the title says, I have a 2019 hyundai sonata with about 83k miles on it. Within the past 2 years I have needed to put quite a few miles on it for school. (~20,000/year) It has had some mechanical issues such as new alternator, new thermostat, and recently a new head gasket.

Recently I noticed that my oil was running low and I brought it to the mechanic, thinking it may be the head gasket again. They let me know that it was not leaking oil, it was burning it off and that I should sell my car.

I did a bit of research and found this is a common hyundai issue with the piston rings. I do have a CPO power train warrenty until 120,000 miles but the mechanic said it’s better to sell while the car still has some value.

TLDR: 2019 hyundai sonata burning oil, might be covered under warrenty, looking for a second opinion on if I should just sell it.
