I wanna buy a laptop but im confused between these two Legion 5 Pro configs.

1. Ryzen 7 5800H (4.4GHz boost, 8C/16T), RTX 3070 140W, 16gb ddr4

2. Intel i7-12700H (4.7GHz boost, 14C/20T), RTX 3070 150W, 16gb ddr5 (+$100 extra)

everything else is the same, both with 2560x1600@165hz display and 1tb nvme.

I want it for editing, coding, gaming and I'll run some small llms locally using Ollama.

I will almost always be using it while charging and in a cold environment, except when im doing light takes like im coding or watching media or just discord, in this case i'll be on battery.

I dont mind it heating if I'm gaming, as long as i dont damage components or battery life in the long term.

i read the intel variant is faster but heats more, so have u had any thermal issues or noise with the intel?

and is it really worth extra bucks for better performance? and sacrifice staying a bit cool?

and if you have any comments with these configs, please tell me ur story.
