Why are all of the cadet and youth 14 epee and foil events doubled up so that multiple weapons are on the same day? We have fencers in both genders who fence both and are qualified in both.
If we're going to double up why not do saber and epee? Why can't we just flip flop with cadet in 14 so that they're picking an age group not a weapon?
I know there's always going to be a gripe and you can't make everyone happy but doubling up age groups seems absolutely ridiculous.
The new point system was great... Now a bunch of math makes it terrible to understand again. You were doing so well. Just keep it simple!
Since when is there a cut in any youth event at summer nats if they have less than 256 competitors? Cutting 20 kids out of the youth 12 foil DE is a waste of everyone's time and their resources.
I recently tried to replace the brake booster on my Lexus LX470. I discovered there was an extra port on the unit in the vehicle (4 total) and 3 ports on the replacement. Is there some kind of a retrofit or did I just get the wrong part?
Does anybody have any insight information on when USA fencing might announce whether they are adopting the new single point standing system and what that means for competitors next season?
I know there was something about a board vote last month but I don't know the result of that vote.
