I’ve already firmed Computer Science at the University of Nottingham, but I’ve recently been seeing a lot of news about financial issues and staff cuts at the university, which has made me a bit unsure about my decision. I’m now wondering whether it’s still worth going there for Computer Science, especially in terms of teaching quality, placements, and overall student experience. I also have the option to try for Loughborough through Clearing if spaces come up. Would that be a better choice for Computer Science and employability? I’d really appreciate honest advice from people who know the courses or have experience at either uni.
