i just watched sleepers on netflix. i remember watching it at the cinema when it first came out. that must have been an extremely sanitized version though, because the SA was hinted at so subtly that it took me half of the film to figure out what the horrible thing going on actually was (and i wasn't a child in the nineties).

also, during the trial those men were meant to be in their mid-twenties? they look at least 10 years older.

i guess it was a pretty decent film then, but looks overdramatized now.

maybe somebody can help me. i'm looking for a movie i think i watched on a plane once, or maybe in a hotel room somewhere. i vaguely remember it was following a woman through one single night where she was wandering through the city, meeting people she knew, shortly attending a party and/or an exhibition. i don't remember what she was looking for or if she ran away from a relationship.

it's really just a few moments and pictures i recall. i liked it because it played all in one night. sorry for the lack of details.
