Summer - today’s Episode

This storyline gets more and more ridiculous.

So now Summer is no doubt going to be charged, remanded and spend more days in prison than monsters like Theo ever did (or Carl for that matter). Even if Summer lied about being at the flat, the police would just haul her in for more questioning (like they did with Christina yesterday) and ask why she lied, not arrest her on suspicion of his murder! Like Sarah said at the end of the episode, ‘what evidence?’ But hey, this is the same soap and same Lisa Swain who had Roy on remand for months

In reality, whatever her motive - there’s not one person on the street who would believe Summer was capable of that.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say if again - Theo should’ve been charged for what he did to Todd, they should’ve shown Todd having the courage to give evidence against him in court, Theo should’ve been convicted and that should’ve been that. This whole whodunnit storyline has just taken away from all the hard work that Corrie spent on the Todd and Theo domestic abuse and coercive control storyline

Cassie

We know she is leaving and her final scenes will be shown over the summer but what could her leaving storyline be? As much as she has annoyed me at times, I doubt she’d just randomly leave Tyrone and her grandkids. From yesterday’s episode where she kept screeching and shouting at everyone, Steve did look a bit embarrassed, so they are probably heading for a break up but that still won’t explain why she’d leave the Street completely - even her fighting with Tracey seems to have stopped.

Christina

I couldn't believe how stupid she was in tonights episode

'Oh Summer really didn't like Theo did she?!', 'She is saying such terrible things about him!'

I mean she had just found out that he had killed her dad Christina and was abusing one of her other dads and the only dad she has left!

I was starting to like her as a character but she has annoyed me in the last few weeks
