I’ve been working on opening this pool for the last week. Filter running 24/7, backwashing and rinsing multiple times a day. Looks blue until I vacuum or brush. Every time I vacuum the particles are too small so it just floats up and makes the water brown.

We’ve been trying to get this pool clear for the summer. All levels read normal but the free chlorine stays at 0. I’ve shocked it several times. It turns a slightly cloudy blue but when I brush it it’s almost brown and then fades to this. I added 6 more bags of shock this morning. Recirculated for 1 hour before switching it over to filter. I have been backwashing and rinsing the filter twice a day as well as vacuuming and brushing. Pool is 14,400 gallons and intex 2800 sand pump
