I feel like Digger is him really going for it, so it got me wondering about the times he's missed out in the past.

I got through everything he's written over the past couple of years, and am missing Stephen King now, to be honest. I've found some good books that are appealing, but not a lot. I really like the longer Stephen King books that feel especially unpredictable, and lean more toward his thrillers sometimes than his straightforward horror books.

Like, 11.22.63 got me interested in Libra (Don DeLillo) and American Tabloid (James Ellroy), but the recommendations don't have to be JFK-themed 😅

I've never really loved "Irregular Around the Margins" as much as most people, and do really love "Proshai, Livushka," even with the wonky CGI.

Which ones had the biggest impact on you?
To count, it has to have organized crime play a role in the story, and revenge has to drive much of the conflict.
