Mongo Push Issue [32YO]

Has anyone had this issue,
I learnt to push mongo when I was like 10 and have been doing it ever since, it was not until I was older I realised it was a no no (no one ever pulled me up on it) how do I break the habit easy ? I feel like I’m starting all over again
