I just stumbled across this 7 page document after a Google search. You need a free account to read it, and you'll have to skip ads.

Some guy named 'Trixelized' uploaded a document on 4/27/25 last year about Day 0 and Day 1 of Rainy Mari's gameplay and plot.

-There was a meeting on 2/22/2025, a month after the Rainy Mari trailer released, regarding quests, general plot, new places, puzzles, and Mari's life in the last 2 years and 2 Days:

-Specific RM team members usernames mentioned
-Mari starts the day with chores, doesn't go outside but can go in the backyard. Homeschooled?
-Mari's about to move, just like the original game, but this time to college
-Dream Treehouse is a hub and Mewo builds treehouse up
-It's been 2 years since Sunny's death

-Antagonist called the Dark King (the red-eyed golem?)
-Has a 'Dark Room'
-Sunny will 'disappear' in Headspace equivalent
-Really emphasizing the fairy tale elements
-Aubrey keeps in contact with Mari indirectly through Mom. Dad is still around. Replaces Kel door knock event
-Basil and Hero apparently only show up in Dreamland so far

-Planned Rainy Mari release in installments 'Day by Day'

And a whole bunch of stuff not mentioned above.

Most likely everything in the trailer was from 'Day 0': the Dark King, candy trees etc. If this doc is real, I do feel guilty about reading this and linking it, but it's been a long while since ANY news came out and judging by the uh....passion from some fans here, they're eager for a single crumb.

I hope the vast majority of what was talked about in the document has already been implemented since 2021 and still not in outline stage.
