Deleting reddit forever
I swear by Allah that I have never encountered a more disappointing community of liberals, feminists, and moral relativists than the Jordanians on Reddit. This applies to every Jordanian subreddit I have been in,
I have spent my entire life interacting with people from western countries. Not once have I been as shocked by their views as I have been by the opinions of my own countrymen on this platform.
Post anything traditional or religious and you are heavily downvoted. Criticize feminism and the same happens. Discuss gender roles and you are attacked. Express even basic male preferences and you are shamed and downvoted into oblivion.
I genuinely believed Jordanians were, on the whole, more traditional and religious than this. What I have found instead is the opposite, many of the men and women here are more progressive and detached from our cultural and religious values.
And the amount of terrible advice you find on this platform is mind-blowing, whether it's coming from men or women,
And I advise everyone to abandon this platform if they want to save their mind from getting corrupted.
