The visuals are crisp and clear, and whenever there’s a daytime scene showing scenery or landscapes, you can see the clarity even more. It’s genuinely so eye-pleasing. The blacks are going to be insane, and every colour pops with such good contrast that you just feel satisfied looking at the visuals. 🔥
The sound is personally my favourite part right now because you can actually feel the sound coming from the screen, and it’s quite a unique experience compared to conventional theatre sound systems. You might initially feel like the sound is a little low for the first few minutes, but once you get used to it, you’ll absolutely love the experience. This is how film sound should be experienced, IMO.
The seating is comfortable too, with decent leg space. But the worst part was my seat. I booked E-17, and I genuinely have no idea how this happened because I was sitting normally and I’m not rough with seats at all. When I went out during the interval and came back, the seat literally wouldn’t go back into its proper position. It was stuck, bent and looked horrible. 😭
Luckily, there was an empty seat beside me after one seat, so I just moved there. I thought I’d inform the staff later, but the exit was different and I couldn’t find a way to report it.
Screen quality -10/10 🔥
Sound - 10/10 🔥
Seats - Quality needs a check! 😭

This is disappointing!! Just yesterday the workers around there told me it will be opened yesterday and now this!!! Guess we have to wait longer!!! : (

Well, firstly, I wanna compare them with my favourite screens and review them first, so I just wanted to tell you how S05 felt. You can skip this if you’re not interested. I’ve marked Screen 5 below. 📍

My go-to screens
Melody is the one I prefer, not just for HDR films but even for normal films. The screen stands better in terms of blacks, contrast and clarity than the other single-screen setup, which has that 4K Xenon shiii..
But I absolutely hate the sound system in Melody. The bass is way too overpowering, and sometimes you can’t even hear the BGM properly. Sometimes the sound doesn’t have much clarity and just sounds like distorted noise. Obviously, this is just my personal opinion - others may love it.

Varun INOX is my second favourite go-to, mainly for the sound. The Dolby Atmos is obviously good, but even the other screens with 7.1 Dolby have perfectly clear sound with no overpowered bass.
The problem is the screen quality. SC1 and SC2 have 4K Xenon, while the rest are 2K Xenon, so yeah… it’s pretty bad.

Now coming to Screen 5 at AAA cinemas📍
The screen is big enough, and I’m personally satisfied with the size. Obviously, I need to watch at least 3 different films on this screen to review it more accurately.
But even from this one experience, it’s definitely better than the other Xenon projector screens. Even Jagadamba Laser feels a bit dim compared to this one.
Screen 5 is bright enough, and the clarity is really good. Most importantly, even though the film I watched didn’t have many dark/night/pitch-black scenes, the few dim shots looked so crisp and clear.
For Hollywood films especially, this would be a very good upgrade for us, considering we’re coming from the old-school 2K Xenon screens used in our INOX.
And then there’s the sound.
This is where I fell in love with it.
The clarity in the music is exactly what I always crave. No overpowered bass, the BGM is loud enough without being irritating, and there are no annoying distortions.
For me, this is basically:
Melody’s screen + Varun INOX’s sound system lol..
I still need to watch more films on it before giving a proper final verdict, but so far, I’m really impressed.
Can’t wait for the mighty Screen 7!! 🔥
