Does anyone have any idea how much longer this is going to take? I was reinstated into the list April 2026 after being removed February 2023 due to a mailing address error, and appealed. I am now back on the list but lost a time gap of February 2023-April 2026. Originally applied in 2019 and was selected from lottery.
How long did it take anyone who's been successful with getting housing through coordinated entry housing navigator. Being without housing in Orange County going on 8 years now. 37 y.o. female, I have submitted documents with housing navigator through Coordinated Entry (birth certificate, social security card, verification of disability from doctor), have been living in vehicle, working, verified mental health disability, provided those documents, impossible to get housing in Orange County. Even when I was making decent income, credit is compromised due to being a single mother, now my kids are over 18. I am on my last end here, this has been going on for way too long. And my current job pays horrible until I find something better. I applied for housing with Coordinated Entry worker May 2026, and I am wondering how many months I will be waiting, still in my vehicle and my body is super sore.

Being charged with "Violation of Restraining Order" (Misdemeanor Charge) CA of a court order never given to me, and was not at court hearing when it was granted, person who have claimed to served me signed document & did not give me the documents (perjury service). Person who claimed to have served me the restraining order before & after the court hearing, not present, refuses to comply with served me signed document & did not give me the documents. Person who claimed to have served me the restraining order before & after the court hearing, not present, refuses to comply with investigation. I am in California, my public defender is terrible and wants me to accept community service, but I refuse since I know I am innocent and did not receive the documents, she signed the documents claiming to have served and lied. The service party is a convicted Felon with an extensive criminal record, along with the requesting party who requested the restraining order, my children's father who has DV and criminal record from 5+ years ago, I have never been arrested before, this is my first ever criminal charge. I am 37 years old, this is in California.
