Looking for recommendations for a new fantasy series to start

Someone recommended I read the Sword of Truth/Wizard's First Rule series...I read about four of them, and I'm looking for something a little less misogynist, or at least not so...dude centered.

My favorite series is The Dark Tower, I'm a huge King fan, but have read and re-reas his entire works too many times to count.

I write and create true crime content in the spirit of advocacy for victims/survivors of predatory violence. So I'm always reading a lot of nonfiction while researching cases and such. I like to read lore and character based nonfiction in between, to sort of balance out the dark vibes of the research material my work consists of.

I like the story, some of the female characters and the overall journey of the WFR series, but the glazing of the main dude has gotten old. I want to read something with all the lore, the creatures, the adventure, the magic...but without so much of the "dude who has every ability ever and who is never wrong" trope🤭.

Ya know?

Thanks.

Mos Eisley set is back in item shop, along with 4 more seperate Star Wars decor bundles

Available until May 21st I believe.

It's the Mos Eisley Bundle, and then 4 other seperate decor sets. A few of the decor sets are items that were free in the Star Wars Island Revel Base quests, which gives me hope that they might do the same thing with decor we might have missed from previous quests.

Another custom pool

I made this custom to be a sort of dock resort. It has a little poolside bar, and railed dock pathway with fishing areas. It looks spectacular at night.

My custom Glow Bridge at night

My custom Waterfall Glow Bridge at night, using the new pieces from the latest update. I have a video of it during the daytime, but it doesn't do it justice.

Brought my Trusty Piglet with me again as well.🐖🐷😏🤗

Does anyone know if the hay decor is free?

The little hay bales that the animals eat? Or is it exclusive to the anarchy acres set?

I Googled this and it said it's supposed to come from an NPC?🤨But I've never seem it in the codex, even with free crafting.

I missed out on the farm/big barn set when it came out, but have made my own designs from scratch, using other red walls and blocks, but I can't figure out anything to use as a hay decor.

I hope today's doc drop helps to correct who are victim blaming Celeste & her family. Also, according to this filing, it was *his* family that was aware of what was going on. NOT hers.

David Burke's "Itami" ("pain" in Japanese) alter ego story that he claims inspired, "Romantic Homicide" and certain tour themes, is totally plagiarized from a popular Manga called "MPD Psycho".

In MPD Psycho, a detectives wife is killed, and the trauma of that event causes his mind to split into two personalities (hence the title, Multiple Personality Detective). One of the personalities is that of a serial killer, and his Detective persona starts investigating his own murders.

It's an incredibly graphic story, complete with illustrations of women being murdered, mutilated, cut up, dismembered.

There is a picture of the detective's murdered wife laying dead in a bathtub, her arms cut off just below the elbow, and her legs have been removed as well...in a way that's identical to Celeste's autopsy report. Her body is sent to the detective in a Styrofoam looking shipping container.

There are also specific themes concerning removing the ring and pinky finger on the left side of a person's body. This too is an exact match to Celeste's autopsy.

There are also characters with barcodes over their left eyes. "That marks individuals as products, not individuals", and signifies personality shifts. Some of them wear patches over their left eye. It's symbolic for someone who is being controlled. Celeste was missing her left eye. (*this could've been a result of decomposition, but still, it's worth noting*.)

Burke was also a fan of Jujitsu Kaisen, he is on a live stream with the prop finger from one of the villains. Another character eats this finger, and the Demon it belonged to becomes part of him, (once again), fracturing his personality.

Severed fingers are a recurring theme in a lot of anime. I think he took her fingers on purpose, and I think he was emulating the stories he was into, as a sort of signature to his crime.
