I recently had a bike stolen from Finsbury Park Tube Station (Cube Hyde Race, 54 in case you see it online) and my insurance company wants to buy a bike for me instead of giving me cash to replace it.

I would like to get a new bike through cycle to work as I can obviously get more bike for my money that way.

So I'm wondering if anyone is in the market for a new bike around the £1200 mark. You can tell me what model, I'll ask my insurer to buy it, then you can have it from me at a discount once it's delivered.

I recently saw a video that showed the Wurzeltrail looking like it has been completely overhauled this year between Saalbach and Leogang. I’m visiting in September this year and I’m weighing up which bike to rent.

I’m staying in Saalbach and I’d like to go full DH if possible but was thinking enduro so it’s easier to pedal across to/from Leogang.

Essentially will I complete regret taking out a DH bike or now that the Wurzeltrail looks like it’s been groomed nicely can I get away with it given that I’m only going to do it twice a day most?
