Does the wood plank work?

Needing a new garage door and front door and thinking about this cedar plank look. The cedar plank that you see on the side of the house will be restained either way. Is this look a yes or a no? The alternative is a light matching garage door with windows but I have never liked the large white square feeling of our garage door.

Out w the old, in w the new

Just delivered today, the Jacuzzi J-408L to replace my 2010 J480. I have not gotten in yet but I love the modern look. The insulation looks much sturdier and I like that it is not as deep. No cup holders but the edge has lots of drink space. It heated up tremendously quick from 80ish to 95 in just a few hours. I haven’t seen any real reviews on the J408 so I’ll update after a few weeks.

Looking for opinions on costs. I am looking to build a 10x12 shed. I can buy a gorilla shed or tuff shed and have it installed at less than 10k.

My other option is having a guy build one. He does a bit of everything and finished my basement but he’s a framer by trade so probably a good fit for a shed.

How much money do you really save building it yourself?
