Risk advisory/insurance broking industry in Singapore

Curious about the insurance broking and risk management industry in Singapore, as it doesn't seem like something common here.

(not to be confused with the typical FAs, this is for corporate risk)

Context is i got an offer for the Marsh Risk Early Career & Graduate Programme, placed in the Credits team for 2 years but apparently will be exposed to different projects. I'm a fresh grad with a background in Info Systems, so this is new to me.

The JD was quite vague and general, but from talking with the HR and managers during interview, seems like it will be a lot of research and speaking with clients etc. But ofc will have the proper learning, mentorship and support first.

Would love some honest perspectives from anyone who's worked at Marsh Singapore, in CPRI/credit risk, or in the broader insurance/risk advisory space.

Just want to understand what is the day-day like, career trajectory (both within Marsh and outside), transferrable skills or other adjacent domains if not interested in this field.

Thanks!
