I’m facing a situation. I’m planning to use the $200 airline credit for my luggage, which exceeds the 50-pound weight limit, when I return from Japan. I booked my flight with United, and I’ll be traveling with ANA upon my return. I’m concerned that the $200 credit won’t be valid with ANA since I initially booked with United. However, I’m wondering if I can still use the credit if I prepay online using the airline’s app and activate it. Please advise.
