Should I worry?
New dasher here (about 50 dashes). Order was a “leave at door” for like 7 drinks from the gas station. Someone was waiting outside the house so I marked the order “handed to customer”. I complete the dash, move on to another one. The previous customer calls me saying I delivered to the wrong house and what am I going to do about it.
I told her to contact DoorDash support as there’s nothing I can do on my end.
I’ve learned my lesson. No more handing to customer on “leave at door” orders (or at least making sure to take a picture), but how much should I worry? Should I contact support and see if she complained or to explain the situation before I hear from them?
