So for context, I have 4 quail in my coop right now. One confirmed female and the others I am presuming are male. They all get along pretty well and for the last few weeks, I have been getting only one egg a day. Well this mornings egg was vastly different colored than the rest. Is this normal? Is it safe to eat? Can it possibly be a viable egg to hatch? I read that it could possibly be just a color dump during formation but I wanted to ask the community.
