RDR2 is changing the way I look at real life...

I know it sounds too deep, but hear me out.

A few days ago, I posted about needing 40-60 fps to even consider playing again. Some of you said that because of the deep immersion, I wouldn't really notice the framerate after a while. Well, you were right. I started my second playthrough after all these years, and I now remember exactly why this is my favorite game of all time. And this time around, it's even better.

I'm mostly exploring and taking it slow—like, REAL slow. And it's not even something I'm doing on purpose; the game just naturally makes me play that way. I'm enjoying every little detail more than ever before.

When I play, it completely makes me forget the rush of real life. To be fair, it deeply calms me down. It actually made me reflect on the way I live my day-to-day life: always rushing, chasing the next big step, comparing myself to others, never feeling okay with just doing nothing, rushing to bring the kids to school just in time, getting annoyed by the smallest things and worrying a lot.

But when I just stand still or take it real slow for a moment in the game, I realize there are so many beautiful things around me. It made me look at the real world differently too. Those beautiful, quiet moments have always been there in real life, and I've seen them many times, but I never truly registered them.

Maybe it's also because I'm older now and have two kids, but wow. This time, the game really changed my perspective on what it means to just slow down and appreciate the present moment. And because of that, its even making me a better father.

Thanks for convincing me to pick up the controller again.

EV6 (2023) kick mat - suggestions?

My kids are destroying my other precious family member: my Kia EV6.

Instead of getting rid of the cause, I'm trying to find a solution in the form of two kick mats/backseat organizers. However, all I can find are loose, silly-looking ones that really ruin the look of the interior.

I want something that fits as tight and flush as possible, and preferably has some pockets to store toys and other stuff. Does anyone have any recommendations or links to premium options that look good in the EV6?

Yes, im willing to pay for premium stuff if its really good.

Any suggestions would be awesome.
Thanks upfront!
