AIO? I want to cut ties with my grandfather's wife.
The woman got 40 dollars from my grandfather to buy a birthday gift for my 1 old daughter, their first grand grand child.
She spent the money on god knows what and for the gift she wrapped some used child books that she stole from the school she works at.
The books were not only used but the kids drew doodles on them, they were dirty, scratched, some pages were torned apart, one of them had a electronic component that played music to follow along with the book, and that part was rusty and not working properly.
I find it irresponsible to gift that to a 1yo baby. I find it offensive and disrespectful to gift anything in such conditions to anyone. I think it's dishonored to do such a thing for someone of your family. I think it's ungrateful that she would do such a thing after all the things all my family members have given her throughout the years. Ifeel hurt that she has such a decision for such a emotional event for our family. And I am livid and not quite sure how to react, but I definitely don't want her approaching me nor my baby ever again.
