I think we will see less of dedicated artist sets and lots more of multiple artists having a set at Knockout 2026. What do you think? Is this something we will see start to happen?
With “Get Wrecked Live” and “BKJN Takeover” and the “Greazy Texas Fuckerz” sets been shown for Knockout 26. I feel like we won’t see a lot of artists having their own performance and sets. There’s also a lot of other artist collaborations within the line-up.
Do you think this is something that’s going to happen for Knockout 26?
Is this something your for or against?
Is this something that will be a new thing more festivals may do?
Obviously we have had b2b and vs. sets for a while but this doesn’t feel like that and it’s something I’ve seen happen. With artists bringing people onto their set to do their collabs but a whole set of it?
And with artists now more regularly collaborating we don’t see too much new music coming from one artist so is this going to become more and more just a mixture of artists or labels just having a joined set?
I can also see that having a whole set together with other artists may take workload off their production and hope to see some crazy visuals.
This is just my opinion I only reside in the Aussie hardstyle scene. But In past doing a joined set with other artists turned into a joined artist name or project. Where a lot more than just a few songs could be played.
Can’t wait to hear all the opinions and inputs from artists and ravers from the scene. First post in this community so thank you for reading.
