Hi,

I got a great deal on a 2nd hand track saw and rails,

it came with 2 1.4m guide rails, which is great for breaking down sheet goods, but for most applications, it’s more than I need, and storage is a pain,

Rather than buying more rails, has anyone ever but a rail down to size? I was thinking of cutting one of the 1.4m rails down to a 900mm and a 500mm rail.

Any one got any tips/advice/warning?
