Making money - based on your comments

I’ve only recently started playing this within the last few weeks and I do thoroughly enjoy it.

Recently I saw someone comment on another post that making money is so easy you can become a billionaire within a week.

Although this is likely a huge exaggeration, but did highlight my struggle financially as I continuously see people mentioning how easy it is.

I started, I took out both my 100k and 400k loans, I bought myself a nice second hand Volvo, along with two other cheaper trucks for two drivers I hired. I have two garages.

However now I have around 15k Thats only there from my previous job, so I was at 0. My two drivers do make a little money for me but it’s so slow and barely noticeable.

I am upgrading certain things like adr, long haul and fragile cargo on myself and my drivers, but it still Beggy the question of why I am so poor.

I don’t expect simple millions, but is ets2 a case of exponential growth where in time everything accumulates and late game it starts rolling in, or am I doing something wrong and this small income is what I will have unless I change something?

34m here looking to get into it. Absolutely fascinated with all insects. Have kept numerous jumping spiders, praying mantis in the past so Im aware of the upkeep and Whats required from me.

For a few years now ive. Even toying with the idea of growing an ant colony. The idea of growing a colony from a single queen, building a nest and an out world for them sounds so incredibly rewarding for me.

Ive said from quite early on and have been consistent with it through other insects that I want to imitate their natural habitat. I don’t want plastic decorations, cork this and plastic that. I would like to build from scratch a realistic environment for them. A full ecosystem.

After a lot of research Im toying with either harvester ants or camponotus ligniperdus.

First of all, I’d absolutely love some advice straight off the bat for what Im getting myself into. Ive of course done research, but there is no better advise than hearing from people with edperience.

Im UK based. From what I’ve seen there are numerous websites around that can assist me with materials for building. However i absolutely refuse to pay the 200/300/400/500 pound price being put on basic enclosures.

I’d basically just like as much information as you’re all willing to give me!
