State, county with high quality people?

Hey! So, briefly, I am an immigrant doctor taking a gap year to do research in the USA and planning to start residency soon. Actually, I am in West Virginia now. I discovered I can not stay here anymore, it is literally a dead state with zero chance of dating a high-quality girl or living a good and normal social life, ppl are so nice everywhere, but this is just a facade; in reality, nobody wants to talk to me, and nobody is intresting in knowing me. I can feel that once I ivisit big cities and start to feel there is some life, I feel myself. I am going to fix my life from this pain. Thinking of going to goto Houston, Texas, Dallas, or California, I wanna your suggestion on which state, county, has a good financial, social life, high quality ppl, and a good neighborhood to live in the USA.

my chances to match into PM and R

To keep it short, I’m an IMG with a USMLE Step 2 CK score of 245-255. I am a permenant resident so don’t need a visa. In high school, I earned two silver medals and one bronze with the football team. I’ve spent two years in research, published 12 full-text articles and 8 abstracts, and two of my articles are cited in guidelines. My research background is solid, so that’s not my concern. The main thing is, I originally aimed for radiology and spent both years working in Neuroradiology and stroke therapy. Now I’m seriously considering switching to PM&R. What are my chances of matching there? I’m worried that my focus on radiology might be seen as a red flag or make me look less interesting as an applicant. I’d really  hear what the community thinks.

I485 payment Process

Hey everyone, I mailed my I-485 on April 30, and they received it on May 1st. My credit card hasn’t been charged yet. It's been two weeks now, and I’m starting to think this is unusual and that they might reject my file. Any thoughts?
