So last week I started playing ranked for the first time because I got bored, and I immediately noticed how much harder it is. But as I understand, unranked has skill-based match making, right? So how can it be harder if in ranked I’m playing against people that are around my rank. While unranked I’m playing against people that are matched with me on skill?

Like unranked I win around every 5 games, I get between 5-15 kills, usually get top 10. So basically just challenging and fun enough for my level /based on my skill/. But ranked - where everyone in the game is around my rank! - I get killed instantly as soon as it’s 1 vs 1. Like I’ve just gotten to platinum II by basically hiding most games. I’ve gotten maybe 3 kills in the week that I’ve been playing ranked on and off. But like… the people I’m fighting should be my skill right???

Anyway idk! I tried doing a tournament and people suddenly started building so I’m guessing a Fortnite career might not be for me anyway (I’m going through a breakup so Fortnite is life at the moment)

Hi. I have gotten more time to go to the gym and my focus is growing my glutes, but I also want to improve my cardio. But I also have a job that has me on my feet the whole day and running around (retail), so combining recovery with glute grow and cardio training is a puzzle. I have used ChatGPT to help me with a schedule (exercises are my own based on existing programs), but it has said some contradicting things so I would love some human input.

My previous program was heavy glute training (plus a little back and chest) on Fridays and Mondays, and an ‘intense’ run (as in, pushing myself), on Sundays. My new program is: Sunday: heavy glute program, more weight, less reps; Monday: run according to program; Tuesday or Wednesday: an easy run and banded/body weight glute routine; and Friday; glute workout with less weight, more reps

My intenser working days are Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturdays, so recovery wise I’m trying to build the program around that. But it feels a little counterintuitive, I have more time to go to the gym but I go down one heavy glute workout and add two lighter ones. And those feel easier so idk!! And also the new program has me doing RDLs only once a week. But I guess with the little recovery times it’s maybe also not good to do too much?

(I am training my chest and back a little as well don’t worry lol)
