Real talk, I know this sub has become an Auth-Right hugbox in the past couple of months (can't even hate, y'all need it at this point lol) but get some better material at least...

I hope that raids 4 has Desiccated Pages on the drop table

Considering that we’re getting permanent elemental spell upgrades as a drop from the raid itself, it’s safe to assume that standard spells are gonna be pretty prominent, which means a ton of pages to upkeep. However, the only consistent source of any of the pages (by a HUGE margin) is the Royal Titans, an early game boss.

Rather than have to do a ton of titans to upkeep pages, it would be neat if desiccated pages were in the common loot pool, either as a straight up drop or something similar to the “cache of runes” from ToA. It would be thematic too since it’s an archive!

I really hope Jagex discusses the potential Chambers of Xeric changes this week

After the extremely conservative changes were brought up in the sweep-up blog (and then promptly dismissed in the Fractured Archive blog to a "small buff for now and a revisit in the future") there has been radio silence on what direction Jagex is choosing to go. I'm worried that if nothing gets addressed before Archive drops then we'll be stuck with a ridiculously small percentage buff until the next "revisit" in who knows how long. Getting prayer scrolls 58% of the time feels terrible, especially given the fact that Chambers has 5 more uniques than the other 2 raids, 3 of which are "mega-rare" rarity.

I'm really hoping we see any discussion this week because Chambers is really fun but feeling the excitement of a purple dissipate over half the time because it's a prayer scroll is awful!

I just hit Dragon rank and while I enjoyed myself during this league, the entire time I felt like I was waiting for bug fixes for things that were a core part of my build. For context:

  • My regions were KZA and my original plan for pacts was built around the heavy ballista, which is STILL bugged (ranged echoes proc at a heavily reduced rate compared to other crossbows) despite the ballista literally being an image on the 70% damage node

  • Since the ballista didn't work I pivoted to a thorns crossbow build, but thorns doesn't work against Kraken, some Doom attacks, and other places, and echoes were also not working with ammo in your quiver slot, although this last point was fixed last week

  • I also took flask as my t8 relic only to find out that the damage is reduced or flat out doesn't work at some bosses (Olm specifically comes to mind)

  • I got bored with the crossbows and decided to give blindbag a try, only to encounter the myriad bugs associated with the build and essentially waste a respec

There are a bunch of other smaller bugs that I encountered throughout my playtime that, while not game changing, were kind of annoying or lame, and some of them are either not getting fixed or were quietly removed from the list of issues. I feel like there needs to be better QA testing, especially with a system as complex and intertwined as pacts. It was an awesome idea and had everything worked this would have been the best leagues by a long shot. Still had fun though!

EDIT: Some other bugs I forgot to mention:

  • Ranged echoes do not proc off of special attacks

  • Thorns doesn't trigger from most magic attacks (even when they don't splash)

  • Tentacle whip and suffering do not regenerate charges
