So, I'm exactly 4 days past the 1 year warranty period on a set of Logitech/Astro A50X headphones.

A problem I've run into is the power switch is mis-aligned or otherwise faulty. When I turn it off, it doesn't actually turn off so much as go into a pairing mode where the white light blinks in a breathing pattern.

When I turn it on, sometimes the flex of the frame around the switch causes it to turn off/back on.

The reason I'm posting here is to ask if anyone else has had an issue like this, and if so, was there a repair option besides RMA? Because, unfortunately, I'm less than a week past the limited hardware warranty.

If I have to, I'm willing to do some self-repair. The only touchy thing for me would be having to do soldering as I haven't done that for quite a while, but I"d be willing to learn rather than having to replace an expensive set of headphones.

Edit: Okay, I ended up looking up an IFixit tutorial for replacing hardware and got to where I see the issue. It's not a visible bit of damage but something about the switch on the board for the buttons/headset volume setting is a problem. Thankfully, it seems there's just a ribbon cable connecting the switch pcb to the rest of the headset. The hard part is going to be finding a replacement.
