I've been thinking of sharing this experience after seeing so many people come forward with their own, but at the same time, I felt like this is insignificant compared to theirs. However, yesterday, during the gala night performance of the show that inspired my username (I also had to create a new account for obvs), I bumped into the subject person, and I remembered it all too well (10-minute version).
2 years ago, a musical rave was held by this big production company. There were many theatre-loving people there including actors, fans, and friends of the company. People were urged to go in front to perform or just vibe to the songs. It was honestly fun. I was able to enjoy many songs with strangers who, at the end of the night, I didn't even get the chance to properly get acquainted with.
During one song, I think it was Gimme Gimme Gimme, a few people were in front including me and a friend of the company. Everyone was singing and dancing when suddenly I felt someone started touching me on my chest, belly, hips, etc. I don't know if he was just trying to dance or something, but I felt super uncomfortable that I decided to just immediately walk away.
Anyway, I think the person was recently promoted from being just a friend to a producer (I think) of the company.
Again, I feel this is insignificant to the point where I'm questioning if this is even a valid complaint. Feel free to comment if I am just overreacting.
