Avoid Bombay Shaving Company – Absolute Nightmare with Warranty Claim for Trimmer

Hey everyone, I wanted to share my frustrating experience with Bombay Shaving Company and their so-called "Customer Delight" team.

I bought a trimmer from Amazon back in July 2024, which comes with a 2-year warranty. It stopped charging recently, so I reached out to them on May 8, 2026. Since then, it’s been nothing but a constant cycle of "wait 24 hours" and zero actual progress.

Here’s the timeline of how they’ve been haggling me:

  • May 8: I raised the initial claim (Ticket 521948) with my invoice and a video of the issue.
  • May 8: They sent me a Google form to fill out and a link to a video upload. I submitted it immediately.
  • May 11 - 13: I’ve followed up via email and called them three times. Every single time, the story changes:
    • On May 11, they told me to wait 24 hours.
    • On May 12, they told me to wait 1 hour.
    • On May 13, they told me to wait 12 hours.
  • The Ticket Shuffle: To make it worse, instead of resolving my original issue, they just keep generating new ticket numbers (like 526342) every time I complain, likely to reset their internal response timers.

It has now been nearly a week since I provided everything they asked for, and I still don't have a "yes" or "no" on whether they intend to honor the warranty. Their automated emails promise a response in 8-10 business hours, but that’s clearly a lie.

Has anyone else dealt with this? It feels like they are just trying to tire me out so I give up on the claim. I'm about to just escalate this through Amazon directly.

TL;DR: Bombay Shaving Company's warranty process is a black hole of "wait 24 hours" and changing ticket numbers. Avoid their products if you expect any actual post-purchase support.
