The University is implementing changes to make alumni email for this graduating class forward be temporary, going away after 1 year before losing email access permanently.

It seems like it makes NO sense to do this for all future alumni and NOT doing it to all previous alumni, eventually. First they remove former student email access for non-degree completers this last winter, now they remove all future alumni access, the obvious next step is all alumni. Then retirees???

How much money can they be saving doing this?
