Hi all,
Recently picked up this Erika's Hospitality and noticed the "less frosty" and more solid white look of the plastic. I tried to do some research on if PSA changed their mold but all I'm getting is that they updated their slabs around 2024.
I compared various slabs in my collection but I can't seem to find any consistency. The newest cert is the Mega Latias which has the more clear frosty look, but the Lugia is a relatively new cert too yet looks different from both the Latias and Erika. The Erika is the most "cloudy" without any frosted look.
Is there any known information about PSA's slab plastic? Is it based on the batch and luck of the draw, or is there a pattern and reason for the variance? Any information would be greatly appreciated!
