These worth sending to PSA?

These worth sending to PSA?

I’ve check the price on PSA8-10 for these cards and I’d profit from the Rosa alone but I’m unsure as this would be my first batch I’ve sent in. I hear horror stories about people losing there cards.

Fraud flag by a disgruntled buyer

I posted some days ago in this sub that a disgruntled buyer who wanted to buy my slab for half price reported it for fraud, and that I could not contact support since I am in Europe. I wanted to post pics in awnser to the comments, but the post was locked by mods. I understand I might have been scammed myself. My reasoning was that I had the slab for over a year, the certification was active, and a week after I had the issue with this disgruntled buyer the cert was flagged. Seemed like a coincidence. Anyway here are the pics.

Update: I'm an idiot

Is this an edge lift and does it rule a 10 out

First manga ever so I’m wondering if this is normal or a defect, rest is pristine and the card seems flat from the side

17k psa10 card

Hey all Ive recently found my old cards from 10ish years ago and found a flareon ex full art thats worth 17k if graded psa 10 but unfortunately due to not being looked after has some damage I got the card when I was 8 so didnt understand the value of it but is there some way to fix it or make it better??

Would this downgrade PSA 9 to PSA 8 (or even lower)

first time grading to PSA, it's expensive and if this is a PSA 8 im just going to sell raw

thanks

Grade Worthy?

Hey guys I know this card isint perfect but what grade do you think it will get and is it worth buying?

u/Artistic_Cost6023 — 13 hours ago

Weird holo error bottom left corner. Do you think it could still 10?

I think it’s just a holo error because it’s only visible at an angle. Never graded anything like this so what do you think?

Looks pretty good otherwise, maybe slightly top heavy.

Thoughts on this charizard?

Looks pretty good to me, not sure if the centering is good or not tbh

Is PSA deliberately downgrading value submissions?

I’ve been a PSA customer for almost 10 years. I have routinely sent them post 1979 baseball, hockey, basketball, and now Pokémon. My gem rate was probably average: 40-50 %. I’ve had three submissions come back in the last two months and each was 20-23% gem rate. I haven’t changed how I inspect my cards pre-submission, so I have to assume this is deliberate and it’s designed to discourage people from using the value tier in the future. If it comes back. Does this match what other people are currently experiencing as they receive back submissions from last fall and earlier this year?

Finally chosen the ones to get Graded

Had lovely vendors help me look through my binder, rough guess they’ll get between 7-9 and the fullart Charizard has a chance for a 10. Said it was rare to see these older cards to be in such good shape☺️ will come back to this eventually with the real grades.

Edit: the gold star will not rate high but they said to get it done anyway

Is it faster if I ship now

So I have a couple cards to submit. Is the regular tier fast or will it be affected by the backlog and be 5 months like all the submissions right before the price went up, or will it be like 1-2 months if I submit now with the $80/card, specifically through GameStop, if GameStop is longer than Psa itself than I can go through them but.

Nexus night origins booster pack Japan vs Singapore edition

Found this weird post on x about japanese nexus night packs vs Singapore ones.

I dont like speculation on this kind of thing but can anyone confirm this is true?

The only response i can think of is: omg wtf are they doing out there.

False accusation

I put a PSA graded card in a market place without censoring the ID. Someone got mad at me for not selling at half price and reported to PSA, and they flagged it as a counterfeit. It is absolutely not a counterfeit. Since I am in Europe, I can't even access the support on their website. What can I do?

Is there a chance for me to get PSA 10?

The card is Mint. I got it from a friend who decided not to grade this Pikachu, along with the other 2010 World Collection cards. The surface and corners are mint, but the centering is a little bit off.

Help with card

Hi, just pulled this at the pre-release event today. Is it worth grading? I can't tell if the centring is off?

I will keep it as memorabilia, but it would be nice to get a 10.

Should I get it graded or sell raw?

I recently came across this card in my Pokemon binder from 2016 and found this card. I don’t have any experience in psa grading nor Pokemon card selling. The card on its back has minor white fraying on its edges similar to this one I found on eBay selling at $1k. On its front face I could not identify any dents or scuffs. I’m a bit hesitant to take it out again for pics and im here asking if i should send it in to grade or sell it raw at a store.

Deciding whether to grade a card

How do you decide whether or not to send a card off to get graded? I’ve been collecting on and off since I was a kid but have never sold cards before. With the valuable ones, how do you decide whether or not it’s worth sending them off to be graded? Specifically with the two pictured cards (Mega Lucario EX #113 & Pikachu #94 stamped). I know they’ll be worth more with a good grade but don’t want to waste time and money to get back a PSA7.

Is anyone else frustrated with PSA's eBay Consignment payout process?

I've got a 100% eBay account with multiple positive feedback ratings, and I've now used PSA's eBay consignment service three times.

My first sale was a card worth over $1,000. It sat there for an entire week, only for PSA to tell me the buyer never paid. By then, I'd already lost valuable time while the market kept moving.

I relisted the exact same card, and it eventually sold again—but this time for ~$800. You do the math.

On my second experience, I waited 4 days with nothing but "payment processing" before I finally received an email confirming the buyer had paid. I'm still waiting for the payout to hit my account through Stripe.

Now I'm on my third sale, and most valuable yet. Once again, I'm stuck in limbo because all the status says is "payment processing." I have no idea if the buyer has actually paid, if PSA is waiting on something, if Stripe is the hold-up, or if everything is fine and I just have to wait.

My biggest issue isn't even the payout speed—it's the complete lack of transparency.

Why am I sitting there for days wondering:

  • Did the buyer actually pay?
  • Is PSA waiting on the buyer?
  • Is Stripe the issue?
  • Is my payout delayed?

The Pokémon card market moves incredibly fast. Waiting a week to find out a buyer didn't pay, or several days just to learn that payment was finally received, can literally cost hundreds of dollars. In my case, it already has.

I understand fraud checks and payment processing. I don't expect instant payouts. But if PSA is going to be a serious consignment platform, they need to improve communication exactly how they do it through their grading "status" like:

  • Buyer paid ->
  • Payment settled ->
  • Payout processing ->
  • Funds sent

That would eliminate so much uncertainty.

Has anyone else had similar experiences with PSA eBay consignment? Is this just how the service works, or have I been unusually unlucky? I'd gladly pay a premium for certainty of execution. Right now, I'm paying the premium without getting the certainty.

PSA Price Estimates

Lmao I’m not sure how PSA came up with this one. The last Squirtle Pokemon Go PSA 10 (Pop 28) went for $2,000 in April but PSA has it at an estimated worth at about $180. Meanwhile, the Charmander Version last sold for $350 in a PSA 10 and they now have the evaluation at $2,131. I know it’s not 100% accurate all the time but these sales happened months ago, how does this even happen 😭
