I pulled this about a month ago and set it to Bekket hoping for a 10 they came back with a 9.5. Is it worth cross grading? Or even cracking and sending to PSA. PSA 10 is worth double what the BGS 9.5 is going for so I’m wondering if it’s worth. Taking a look at the card closely I only see 1 white dot in the bottom left edge but other than that surface and centering are PSA 10 worthy not sure why corners got 9.5.
Hi everyone, I’m asking the experts on PSA grading: can a card in such terrible condition—but otherwise unaltered in any way—be considered gradable by PSA?
With the Pokemon 30th Celebration Classic Collection, thought I’d make some changes and push a new E-Reader centering mode to IsMyCardCentered!
From what I’ve been able to find, the commonly accepted method is that PSA evaluates these asymmetrical E-Reader layouts by comparing Left/Bottom and Top/Right, rather than the normal Left/Right and Top/Bottom borders. PSA doesn’t appear to officially document this method anywhere though, so I definitely wouldn’t call it an official PSA formula so please take with a grain of salt.
The tool now lets you switch between Standard and E-Reader layouts, along with Portrait/Landscape orientation, and the guides/readout update to match the correct edge pairings.
Figured it was worth adding with more people digging through E-Readers again 🙌
I want to send this to those card repair people to get those white spots out, but I don’t think the centering is to bad, idk I haven’t graded anything ever so idk what I’m looking at but 2K in a 10 is all I needed to hear
