While changing bearings after the water pump failed in my 3.5 ford duratec (internal water pump) I noticed there seems to be a little bit of transfer from the old bearing on this one particular journal. It doesn't catch my finger nail at all and all the other journals are clean. Does this look like it could be a problem? This is the only main cap that, when torque down, seems to tighten up the engine where I can't turn it over by hand.
