Gotta say, I'm pretty sold on getting around by ebike

I used to grab the car keys without even thinking about it. A couple miles to work? Drive. Need something from the store? Drive.

Then I got an ebike, and somehow my definition of too far to ride changed pretty quickly. No dealing with parking, and the smart unlock means forgetting my key isn't a problem either.

At my age, I care more about comfort than speed. I like the low frame on my Ranger 3.0 pro. It's easy for me to get on and off, and range has been fine. If I feel like getting out on the weekend, I'll just fold it up, throw it in the car and go.

Funny how a few miles doesn't really feel like driving distance anymore.

Just quit my job and hit the road, any power station recommendations for my van trip?

I recently quit my job, and as luck would have it, a friend is coming into town right around the same time. We figured that's as good an excuse as any to take a long van trip.

With how hot it's been lately, we'll probably be running a portable fridge most of the time, plus a coffee maker in the mornings, laptops, camera batteries, and all the usual gadgets. It finally feels like it's time to buy a portable power station instead of borrowing one.

Since my van already has solar panels, I've been eyeing the Delta Pro 3, this thing can hook right up to my solar, which feels like it'd be a huge plus in this heat, and the specs say it's got a ton of outlets, including a 240V port that can even handle a portable AC unit. That alone is a game changer, if it really works.

Curious if anyone here has actually used one on the road, or if there's something else you'd recommend instead?

Any tips for making summer mowing less of a burden?

Summer mowing has been wearing me out this year. I'm still using a push mower, and the grass grows so fast this time of year that it feels like I just finished mowing before it needs doing again.

Any tips for making summer lawn care less of a chore?
