MIO map - just... why did the simplified it?
Just rewatched gameplay trailer from 1 year ago and noticed - the simplified the hell out of map on release! Just why? They had all that detailed map with all nooks and crannies, but for some reason... they just downgraded it to simple boxes? Why? I don't get it...
For those asking - that's how it looks in the game right now:
And that's how it looked 1 year ago. Honetsly - old version is better, imho, they should've just add colors to the bioms and that's it. New map is... not hard to navigate, don't get me wrong, but this simplified boxes lack the details and sometimes confuse you where you need to go "inside the box" or where to look for the secret passages when you see an item but can't figure out the way to it, and map show you only square box instead of the true form of the location with all the corners for you to analyze to find the way to the hidden item.
