Title says it all. When I launch the game via steam, it tries to launch, fails, and no error pops ups. When I try to launch via the exe in the file explorer, it gives the error "failed to initialize steam". Anyone encounter this issue before and know of a solution?

Edit: thank you to everyone who suggested game native! I tried tweaking both gamehub and winlator but neither would ever work. Game native worked out of the box and even synced my DSR save which I was not expecting. Pretty awesome stuff! Cheers.
