Thyroid/Hashimoto's as a healthy 30 year old
30/M 5'7 160 lbs
Haven't heard from my doctor yet, but got thyroid testing done recently and here are my results:
T4 FREE = 1.63 (healthy)
FREE T3 = 3.1 (healthy)
TSH Ultrasensative = 4.75 (slightly elevated)
Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies = 230 (very elevated)
Have been tired pretty much 24/7 for years and decided to finally try to figure out why. Diagnosed with central sleep apnea that I'm working on getting fixed, so the fatigue could solely be due to that. But my doc also suggested getting thyroid tested and it appears I have Hashimoto's. But my T3 and T4 seem to be healthy so not sure if I need to start on Levothyroxine yet or not. I'll obviously see what my doc says hopefully this week.
