I built DocOpen, a simple Android document viewer focused on opening files quickly without pop-up ads, interstitial ads, or forced video ads.

I made it because a lot of document viewer apps felt too heavy, had too many buttons, or interrupted the reading experience with aggressive ads.

What it supports:

• PDF
• Word / Excel / PowerPoint
• MD / TXT
• HWP / HWPX
• Offline document opening
• No login required
• Clean viewer UI
• No pop-up or forced video ads, only a small bottom banner

I recently released version 1.1.0 and changed the PDF engine, so I’m especially looking for feedback on:

• PDF zoom smoothness
• Scrolling performance
• Large file loading
• HWP / HWPX compatibility
• General UI/UX issues
