I need to install windows again on my pc since im stuck on BIOS screen. I'm following a tutorial on how to do it and it says i need to know the exact version of windows my pc was running, but i cant check that out on mine. Could someone tell me which one is it?? 🙏 (i never upgraded the windows version)

My computer is stuck on BIOS utility. Been reading some similar posts about and i have some questions regarding how should i fix this.
First, my storage does appear so is not an issue with that, but the boot priority is empty, and for what i understand could be a windows problem which i can solve installing it again.
Problem is i was watching a tutorial on how to do it and a very important step was checking what version your pc had, but since im stuck on BIOS, i can’t check that.
Other issue i have with it, is that the guy said everything in your computer would be lost. Is there a way to not lose everything?? to just install windows and the pc to go back to the way it was?
Can it be fixed without installing windows??
Also i could borrow my brother’s pc to do it (also an asus) but id hate if something happened to his too, is it possible that something happens to my brother’s computer as well?

I've already tried the advance mode route, disable the he secure boot, etc. I wanted to call asus's hotline but they don’t take calls on the weekends
