New Player help/suggestions
Hello, I'm a new(ish) player looking for some guidance. I played this game when it first released and really liked it. I bought a decent amount of packs for the first and second set, but my friends were more interested in Warhammer 40k so I didn't play much beyond one pre-release event.
I was recently in my LGS grabbing a 40k box when I noticed they had a SWU shelf and that the game has received a ton of expansions since I last played. What caught my interest in particular, was that the recent expansions included a variety of KOTOR characters. Most notably, Darth Revan, my favorite Star Wars character of all time.
I decided that IF I was going to get back into SWU, I would want to play a Darth Revan deck.
My question to you all, is a Darth Revan deck Fun & Viable? Or will it just get wiped in 5 seconds by the current meta decks? I ask because my friends aren't interested in playing, so I would be primarily playing in local tournaments & events. I don't mind a <50% winrate, but if my experience is going to be miserable then I don't want to even bother.
I know there is going to be some bias here, but I'm hoping to get a somewhat objective answer before I spend money on another hobby. Thanks!
