I bought a new Genie 3/4 horsepower garage door opener to replace my existing unit that went bad. I think I did everything correctly, the safety sensors are lit the appropriate color and the wall controller powers up. However, I can't seem to set the up and down limits.

The instructions say that holding the down button on the opener should result in a blue light, but there's no light of any kind on the opener.

I think everything is getting power that's supposed to be because when I try to operate the opener, it will move the door a foot or so. I know I need to calibrate it, but can't seem to enter programming mode. Anyone experience that with a new unit, or did I screw something up?
