Making my ATV road legal.

I am from Texas and my atv group is looking to plan a trip in July of this year, 2026 to the Black Hills as I’ve heard atv’s can be made street legal so we can hope between trailheads and visit the local towns with ease. What I’ve read is “it can be done” with permits and things.

I’m coming here to confirm my findings, see if anyone else has done this, and see what I should/shouldn’t do in regards to making the out-of-state atvs road legal.

What’s your go-to sleeping pad?

Long time backpacker, fairly new to moto camping. I’ve just been using my Big Agnus backpacking pad, and it’s okay for a few nights but I’m planning a multi week trip here in a few months and want to find a pad thats a little more comfortable at the sacrifice of space and weight.

I’m riding a 2017 BMW GSA, all my camping gear fits in the exhaust-side box with room to spare.

Interior wall internet wiring

So my internet guy said he couldn’t install the Ethernet port connections throughout the home. But the wires are already ran, I just need to put connector ends on them and plug them into my modem.

How do I do this?

And on a scale of difficulty, is it a simple strip & crimp job? Or a solder and electrical degree job?

My other questions is regarding camping, I’ve read that “you can primitive camp for free without reservation on any NF land as long as it follows NF guidelines”, is this true? And do I need to get any source of permit prior?
