I have a 2004 celica and I’m having an issue with my taillights where they literally don’t turn on at night (or day) when I brake they turn on fine , turn signals work fine and the taillight bulbs themselves work fine, I know this because right now they are turned on , just that sometimes they don’t turn on , I’ve checked fuses , connections , everything is good. Sometimes the car can go weeks or maybe even a whole month without the taillights working at all and all of a sudden they will turn on and work perfectly fine, today I was stopped at a red light and all of a sudden they turned on. I realized they were on because the orange climate control lights also don’t work when the taillights aren’t working and when those orange lights turn on that’s when I know the taillights are working , and the blue lights on the dash turned off because I keep the knob on the left side behind the steering wheel all the way to the left so they can turn off when the taillights come on as an indication that the taillights are working. What can this be? I have been trying to figure this out for months but I’ve had no luck , PLEASE HELP A YOUNG FELLOW…
